• At least two questions must be attempted from each Section.
• All questions carry equal marks (20 marks each).
• Assume Missing Data (if any).

Questions

Section A

• Q1.. Draw a hypocycloid of a circle of 40 mm diameter which rolls inside another circle of 200 mm diameter for one revolution. Also draw a Tangent and Normal at a point 90 mm from the centre of the base circle. [20 marks]
• Q2.. Draw the projections of a Regular Pentagonal Plate of 40 mm side each, having its surface inclined at 30° to the V.P. and a side parallel to the V.P. and inclined at an angle of 60° to H.P. [20 marks]
• Q3.. Draw the projections of a Pentagonal Prism, base 25 mm side, axis 50 mm long, resting on one of its rectangular faces on H.P., with axis inclined at 45° to V.P. [20 marks]
• Q4.. A Square Pyramid, base 40 mm side and axis 65 mm long, has its base on the H.P. and all the edges of the base equally inclined to the V.P. It is cut by a section plane, perpendicular to the V.P. inclined at 45° to H.P. and bisecting the axis. Draw its Sectional Top View, Sectional Side View and True Shape of the Section. [20 marks]

Section B

• Q5.. A Hexagonal Prism, base 40 mm side and height 40 mm has a hole of 40 mm diameter drilled centrally through its ends. Draw its projections when it is resting on one of its corners on ground with its axis inclined at 60° to the ground and two of its faces parallel to the V.P. [20 marks]
• Q6.. A Cylinder having 50 mm dia. and 70 mm long axis is completely penetrated by a Square Prism of 25 mm sides and 70 mm long axis, horizontally. Both axes intersect and bisect each other. All faces of prism are equally inclined to H.P. Draw projections showing curves of intersection. [20 marks]
• Q7.. A Cone of base diameter 40 mm and slant height 60 mm is kept on the ground on its base. An Auxiliary inclined plane inclined at 45° to the H.P. cuts the cone through the midpoint of the axis. Draw its development. [20 marks]
• Q8.. Draw the following Orthographic Views of the object given in figure below : (a) Top View (b) Front View. [20 marks]
