SECTION-A
- QQ.1. Distinguish between positive and negative feedback electronic circuits. State the merits of each and for each case derive the expressions for output impedance of an amplifier. [20 marks]
- QQ.2(a). Derive gain of an amplifier with and without feedback. [10 marks]
- QQ.2(b). Give different ways of introducing negative feedback in amplifiers. [10 marks]
- QQ.3. Derive gain of an amplifier with positive feedback and hence explain the necessary conditions for oscillations. [20 marks]
- QQ.4. Write short notes on: i) LC oscillator, ii)R-C phase shift oscillator, iii) Wien-bridge oscillator, iv)Importance of feedback in electronic circuits [20 marks]

- QQ.5. Draw the circuit diagram of a class B push-pull amplifier and explain its operation. What is cross-over distortion? How is it minimized? [20 marks]
- QQ.6. Classify power amplifiers with suitable diagrams. How is harmonic distortion determined? [20 marks]
- QQ.7. With a neat diagram explain the working of Zener diode as a voltage regulator. [20 marks]
- QQ.8(a). Draw the block diagram of regulated power supply and explain the function of each block. [10 marks]
