- Q1. Estimate the cost of a masonry platform 6mx5m from the given drawing and specifications: i) Foundation-lime concrer over wall only 2.5cm cemet concrete ii). Flooring 2.5cm cement concrete over 7.5cm lime concrete, iii) wall finishing - outside wall are 12mm cement plaster 1:6 [15 marks]
- Q2. The plan represents the plan of superstructure wall of a single room building of 5m x 4m, and section represent the cross-sections of the walls with foundation. Estimate the quantities (using Both methods) of i. Earthwork in excavation in foundation. ii. Concrete in foundation iii. Brickwork in foundation & Plinth iv Brickwork in superstructure [15 marks]

- Q5. R.L is given for chainage 10 to 20. Formation level at $10^{\text{th}}$ chainage is 107 and the road is in downward gradient 1 in 150 upto chainage 14 and then changes to 1 in 100 downward. Formation width is 10 m and side slopes of banking are 2:1.
