Questions
Section - A
- Q1.. Write freehand, in single -stroke vertical capital letters using ratio 7:5 and height as 10mm. (a) I AM PROUD OF MY COUNTRY. [20 marks]
- Q2.. A point P is on HP and 20 mm in front of VP. Another point Q is also on HP and behind VP. The distance between their end projectors is 60 mm. Draw its projections if the line joining P and Q makes an angle of $60^{\circ}$ with reference line. Also find the position of point Q. [20 marks]
- Q3.. A line AB 80 mm long has its end A 20 mm above HP and 30 mm in front of VP. It is inclined at 30 deg. To HP and 45 deg. To VP. Draw the projections of the line and find apparent lengths and apparent inclinations. [20 marks]
- Q4.. A regular pentagonal lamina, of 30 mm side, rests on HP on one of its side such that it is inclined to the HP at $30^{\circ}$ and the side on which it rests, inclined at $45^{\circ}$ to the VP. Draw its projections in first angle. [20 marks]
Section - B
- Q5.. A right regular pentagonal prism, edge of base 25 mm and height 65 mm, is resting on one of its base edges in HP and inclined at $25^{\circ}$ to VP and the face containing that edge inclined at $50^{\circ}$ to the HP. Draw the projections of the solid. [20 marks]
- Q6.. A right regular pentagonal prism, base edge 30 mm and height 60 mm, is held on HP on one of its base edges, such that its axis is parallel to VP and inclined to HP at $30^{\circ}$. An auxiliary horizontal plane cuts the prism, intersecting its axis at distance of 17 mm from its top end. Draw its front view and sectional top view. [20 marks]
- Q7.. A right rectangular pyramid of base 50 mm x 35 mm and height 70 mm rests on its base in the HP with one of its base sides parallel to VP. A section plane, perpendicular to the VP and inclined at 300 to the HP cuts the pyramid, bisecting its axis. Develop the lateral surface of the truncated pyramid. [20 marks]
- Q8.. Figure A shows isometric view of an object. Draw: (a) Front View (b) Side View (c) Top view, and add all necessary Dimensions. [20 marks]
