(a) A ladder $8\text{ m}$ long rests against a vertical wall with which it makes an angle of $45^\circ$ and resting on a floor. If a man whose weight is one half of that of ladder starts climbing it, find the distance covered by the man along the ladder when the ladder is about to slip. Take $\mu_s = 0.34$ for wall and $0.45$ at floor.
(b) Define friction and coefficient of friction. State Laws of coloumb friction.
